The Canadian Committee for Free Burma (CC4FB) wishes to ensure that Burma gets on the agenda for the G-8 meeting. We would like the G-8 to call for the SPDC to hold real elections and, not the sham election that is planned; for the G-8 to call for the SPDC to release all 2250 political prisoners and for the G-8 to call for the SPDC to allow those former political prisoners to take part in the electoral process.”
