A Signature campaign in Canada for Burma!

A Signature campaign for peace, tranquillity and national reconciliation in the Republic of the Union of Burma/Myanmar, initiated by 'Youth Network' launched on the Burmese New Year day, has been extended to outside of the country. It is requested to release all prisoners of conscience; declare immediately a cease-fire between the Tatmadaw (armed forces) and armed ethnic groups; and create conditions that would enable individuals living as refugees in various countries abroad to come back to Burma in comfort and security.
The signatures are being collected from the people inside the country as well as abroad for the following petition to be sent to the President of the Republic of the Union of Burma/Myanmar.

Please note that it’s a request to the head of the government of Burma / Myanmar from the people; initiated by the grass root network, not by any political party; however, it’s been participated by all walks of society inside and beyond the country.

Please sign the attached (Burmese & English) petition and get as many signatures as possible with the hope that we will help to achieve peace and tranquillity in Burma / Myanmar. Kindly circulate it to people in your network.

You can send the signed petitions to me; then I will forward to the President along with other petitions or you can send directly to the Burmese Ambassador in Ottawa.

His address is:
H E U Kyaw Tin
Embassy of Myanmar
