INVITATION TO PARTICIPATE : NUIT BLANCHE 2010
Seeking individuals who have been denied their rights or have personally suffered Human Rights violations in any country and wish to speak about these experiences.

Scotiabank Nuit Blanche “The Burning Buddha”, by Blake, Saturday Evening October 2, at the Distillery Market Patio, Distillery Lane, 55 Mill St., at Parliament St., in Toronto. Directed by David Warry-Smith.

This is an Invitation to participate in a unique collaborative art event that uses sculpture and a video installation as a backdrop for participants who wish to discuss their experiences of human rights and human rights abuses.

Directed by David Warry-Smith a well-known Toronto television and documentary director, the entire Nuit Blanche evening will be filmed and edited on location during the night to produce a documentary of the event throughout the evening for broadcast at a later date. In the morning the final short documentary will be sent by mail to participants.

The sculpture and video is created by the sculptor Blake, (Wikipedia: Blake sculptor) who will use this dusk to dawn event to engage invited and passing guests to comment on their human rights experiences.

We are looking for people who wish to contribute in the fight for human rights and will exercise their right to speak out for freedom by telling their Human Right story.
